World Migratory Bird Day

Children and adult participants, welcome to the beautiful world of our neighbors, insects and migratory birds in natural city environments as scenarios for collective construction of learning and appreciation of biodiversity. This activity aims, through educational actions, to contribute to making cities and their environments more sustainable and conservationist, establishing a more positive relationship between their inhabitants and nature. This free public event will be held at the UNELLEZ Barinas Botanical Garden, Barinas state (https://www.instagram.com/jardinbotanicounellez/). Everyone is invited to participate in: 1) Talk about the migrations of birds and insects, the benefits that these animals and their ecosystems bring us, the threats that exist to migratory birds and insects; 2) Learning in the use of binoculars and telescopes for the observation and identification of birds and insects, 3) Artistic crafts, ecological games by seasons. This year's event explores the theme of World Migratory Bird Day: “Protect insects, protect birds.” We are waiting for you!!!

Niños y adultos participantes, bienvenidos al hermoso mundo de nuestros vecinos, los insectos y las aves migratorias en ambientes naturales citadinos como escenarios de construcción colectiva de aprendizaje y valoración de la biodiversidad. Esta actividad tiene como objetivo, a través de acciones educativas contribuir a hacer las ciudades y sus entornos más sustentables, conservacionistas, estableciendo una relación más positiva entre sus habitantes y la naturaleza. Este evento público y gratuito será realizado en el Jardín Botánico de la UNELLEZ Barinas, estado Barinas (https://www.instagram.com/jardinbotanicounellez/). Todos están invitados a participar de: 1) Charla sobre las migraciones de aves e insectos, los beneficios que estos animales y sus ecosistemas nos aportan, las amenazas que hay sobre las aves migratorias y los insectos; 2) Aprendizaje en el uso de binoculares y telescopios para la observación e identificación de aves e insectos, 3) Manualidades artísticas, juegos ecológicos por estaciones. El evento de este año explora el tema del Día Mundial de las Aves Migratorias: “Proteger insectos, proteger aves”. Los esperamos!!!
