World Migratory Bird Day

The World Migratory Bird Day / Día Mundial de las Aves Migratorias event will honor and celebrate the birds on their migration journeys and the crucial insects that they depend on during their journeys. Join us for activities, crafts, and bird walks!

The facilities are in the northeastern area of the Ankeny National Wildlife Refuge at 130 Ankeny Hill Road SE. This is about 6 minutes west from the Ankeny Hill Road SE exit on I-5, or about one minute east of the intersection of Buena Vista Road and Ankeny Hill Road SE. You can see our building from this intersection.
