The Belize Urban Bird Watch is a bird watching expedition throughout the country. These expeditions take place across the country in order to raise awareness to the gentle ecosystem that tropical birds live in and emphasize the need to protect them. During this event we share information in issues that are affecting birds and how individuals can help. This year we are including the message of birds and insects, as there are many factors that are equally as important, due to interconnectedness within the wider ecosystem. We will be inviting several stakeholders to explore the Urban areas and find our feathered friends that make the urban areas their home and promote the theme for this year World Migratory Birds Day "Protect Insects, Protect Birds"
